God’s Call On My Life:

“What is my purpose in life?” “What meaning does life hold for me?” These are questions that I have asked myself many times over. As a Christian, I have prayed to God for guidance to help me find answer those questions. Over the years of contemplation and prayer and through reflection on the many events in my life, I have come to believe that God has a distinct purpose for me in my life here on earth. He has saved me from almost dying of cancer at age 21 and has helped me through many difficult and painful experiences in my life. I cannot believe that my victories over those tribulations were in vain. I also believe God has guided me and nudged me to use those triumphs to inspire others to claim victory in their lives too. More so than the painful times, God has also blessed me greatly in many ways especially with the gift of teaching and a heart for helping others who are facing difficult circumstances in their lives. Ultimately, I believe that I have been called to do good for others while glorifying God.

In the process of seeking answers to what my purpose is in life, I believe I have been able to put that purpose in my personal and professional life into two powerful words:  Inspiring Wisdom. Those two words embody what I believe to be the reason I exist on this earth: To inspire wisdom in people helping them to be the best person they can and to live their best personal and professional life.  These two words, “inspire” and “wisdom”, are particularly meaningful to me for my purpose in life.  Inspire comes from the Latin word spirare which means to breathe. Biblically, inspire means to be breathed into by God.  I believe that we need to be continually inspired, breathed into, throughout our lives to experience necessary and healthful growth. As humans, we must breathe to live and I believe we need to be breathed into to thrive.  I feel very “breathed into by God” in creating Life and Work Soulutions, Inc. I also feel I need to continue to be inspired to thrive and grow.

Wisdom encompasses knowledge, insight, and judgment three very important tools we need for a healthy mind, body, and soul. First, knowledge is power. The more we know about our self and our life, the more power we have to live our best life.  Second, insight into what makes us and the people around us “tick” is crucial to living our best life.  The more insightful we become, the better able we are to use our knowledge to our full potential.  And lastly, knowledge and insight help us to make good judgments.  I believe that our life is largely our creation based on the choices we have made. We are where we have chosen to be.  Each of our lives is filled with choices we have had to make on a daily basis: both good and bad.  If we take full advantage of our knowledge, insight, and judgment we will be able to make good sound judgments in the choices we make in order to live a healthy, meaningful, spirit-filled life.

My intention for Life & Work Soulutions is to inspire wisdom or breathe knowledge, insight, and judgment, into people helping them to be the best person they can be resulting in them living their best personal and professional life.  Initially, this company began as me providing a source for personal growth for others, but over the years, it has evolved into something much more. I hope to do good for others while glorifying God and I would like to bring spirituality, and hopefully a relationship with Jesus Christ into a person’s personal and professional life through seminars, workshops, books, online training, personal coaching, and wellness programs.
