Char Midkiff, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, holds a Master of Science degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University and a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Columbia College. Her journey to help people has been a process. She retired in 2010 from the City of Orlando/Downtown Development Board as the Manager of the Downtown Orlando Information Center which included an internship program she wrote and implemented. While completing her tenure of 27 years with the City she returned to college in order to obtain counseling skills to better help people on their journey. Char genuinely cares for people and would like to see each one mentally whole, healthy, and striving to reach their God given gifts, talents, and dreams. She has a strong faith and uses it as foundation for counseling as she believes “there are some things only Jesus can accomplish in our lives.”
