Barbara Morgan has spent most of her professional life outside the world of counseling. As a full-time small-business owner alongside her husband of 34 years, Barbara acted as a corporate officer and financial manager for much of her career. However, after years of balancing her professional duties, her children, and being the primary caretaker for her mother, Barbara felt led by God to pursue a different path. She returned to school at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. She pursued a Masters in counseling in order to help others as they struggle to deal with the effects of stress resulting from past hurts and abuse as well as the struggles of everyday life. While Barbara does remain involved in the world of business, her passion and focus is now firmly placed in the realm of counseling. She is currently working as a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Theory and looks forward to many more years of helping others through counseling.
